When I set out to design the Carol Dress, I wanted to create something special—a dress that could effortlessly transition between casual and elegant occasions, just like the modern woman who wears it. Named after my middle name, the Carol Dress holds a unique place in my heart and the Kim Lolley Designs collection. It was the second dress I ever created, and from its inception, I knew it would be a standout piece.

The idea behind the Carol Dress was simple yet ambitious: design a dress that was versatile enough to be styled for a party or paired with sneakers for a more relaxed look. To achieve this, I incorporated thoughtful features like a detachable hem, which adds an extra layer of functionality. The hem isn’t just practical; it’s stylish too, featuring contrasting piping that ties the design together beautifully.

Its delicate poof sleeves add a touch of femininity and charm, while the 12 strategically placed darts create a flattering silhouette that enhances the natural shape of the wearer.
